The mission of the Hernando Police Department is to maintain a proactive approach to crime prevention and the protection of its citizens. This endeavor includes working within existing formed partnerships, as well as forging additional partnerships within the community. These partnerships consist of businesses, residents, schools and churches. This partnership allows the Hernando Police Department to provide fair and impartial police services in a professional manner in order to maintain public peace and improve the overall quality of life for the community.
